No algorithm in between
Your members see every post.
- Every new post is emailed to your members
- Your page shows every post, newest first
- Fans pay on the web, so no app store takes a cut
Members can turn post emails off, and get at most 2 a day from one creator. A post for a higher tier goes only to members on that tier or above.

Chapter 41: The Fence Line
The new chapter is up. Harper finally walks the north fence.

The things people usually want to know before they connect a card or a bank account.
A direct-support platform where fans back creators with monthly memberships and tips. No tokens, no coins. Creators keep 87–91% of what fans pay (70% of gifts and tips during a live), paid straight into their own Stripe account.
Yes, in the US and Canada. The first 50 US creators to reach $250 in sales in a month become founding creators and keep 90% for good, and the first 50 creators outside the US to do the same keep 89% for good. Canadian creators are paid in Canadian dollars. The UK and Europe come next: join the list and we'll email you a link the day your country opens. Stripe reviews every creator account and may ask for verification before turning on payouts.
Creators keep 87–91% of every membership, download, call and tip on their page, depending on their sales the month before, and the fee goes down as sales grow. Founding creators (the first 50 US creators to reach $250 in a month) keep at least 90% for good. Lives are separate: creators keep 70% of gifts and tips sent during a live, because live video costs ByUs by the minute. Every rate is on the Pricing page. The fee covers card processing, international cards and currency conversion, so a fan paying from abroad doesn't cost you extra. Disputes and optional instant payouts can cost extra, and we'll always spell those out.
Only where the law requires it, and it's always added on top of your price, never taken out of your earnings. A fan in the UK or Europe sees VAT as its own line before paying. ByUs collects and pays it, so there's nothing for you to file.
Your share lands in your own Stripe balance as soon as a fan pays, so the money is in your account, not ByUs's. Card processing comes out of ByUs's share, never yours. It goes to your bank every Monday if you sold $100 or more last month, or on the 1st of the month otherwise, once your balance is at least $25 (anything waiting 3 months goes out anyway). Payouts are grouped this way because each one has a cost, which ByUs pays, not you. Before your first payout, ByUs does a quick one-time review of your page to make sure you’re a real person, and Stripe, as its standard one-time check for every new account, may hold your first payout for about 7 to 14 days. Switching from another platform? Plan for your first payout about 7 to 14 days after your members' first ByUs charge.
Your own work, on any topic: podcasts, music, writing, art, videos, games and more. A few things aren't allowed, like sexual content (ByUs isn't an adult platform), work you don't have the rights to share, harassment, hate and scams. A minor first-time mistake made in good faith gets a warning, not a penalty, and if something of yours is removed, you can appeal. The full rules are in the Content Policy.
Yes. Memberships are monthly or yearly with no contracts, and fans can cancel anytime from their dashboard, with no penalty.
They keep subscriber posts, Discord roles and Telegram access until the end of the period they already paid for. Then member-only access is removed automatically. Public posts stay available either way.
No setup, monthly or listing fees. ByUs only makes money when you do.
Yes. Set up as many tiers as you like, each with its own name, price and benefits. Most creators start with one to three and add more once they see what members pick.
Payments and payouts run entirely through Stripe. ByUs never sees or stores card or bank account numbers.
Yes, and nobody pays twice. Send your members a switching link with a date you pick, like the day their old membership renews. For them it's one quick checkout: add a card once, pay $0 today, and get full access right away. Their first charge waits until that date, and if they change their mind before then, they're never charged. They cancel their old membership themselves.
Through the Discover feed of public posts, with a Newest tab (up to 2 posts per creator a day) and a Popular tab that compares each post with the size of the creator's audience, so smaller creators get a fair shot, Browse and search (by category, sorted by newest, trending (fastest-growing over the last 30 days, by percentage, so small creators can rank), or most popular), a New on ByUs row for creators who started in the last 30 days, and similar-creator suggestions on every page. The rules are the same for everyone, with no paid boosts. Fans can also follow you for free before they join.
Yes. Download every video as an MP4, your posts and earnings history as spreadsheets, and your current member list (names and emails), any time. The one thing that can't move is fans' saved cards, which stay with the payment processor.
Yes. Besides memberships and tips, you can offer 1:1 video calls (fans book a time, their card is held, and it's only charged after the call), paid messages (fans are only charged if you reply), single posts or bundles of posts that non-members can buy, gift memberships, group memberships for up to 10 people, and digital downloads. They all use the same fee and pay into your own Stripe account.
Yes. Link a Discord server or a private Telegram group in Settings, and new members get the matching role or group access automatically. It's removed when their paid period ends. Totally optional.
