Your fans see your posts. No algorithm in between.

How posts reach fans on ByUs, and why the people who support you don’t have to fight a feed to see your work.

On most social apps, a feed decides who sees your posts, and most of your followers never do. ByUs works differently. ByUs doesn’t sell ads, and we only earn when fans pay creators, so our job is simple: get your work to the people who chose to support you.

Your members get an email

When you publish, your members get an email about your post, unless they’ve turned new-post emails off. No feed decides whether they hear about it. To keep inboxes friendly, members get emails for up to two posts a day from the same creator; anything after that still goes up on your page. A post for higher tiers only emails the members on those tiers.

Followers see it in their Inbox

Fans who follow you for free see your new posts in their Inbox › Activity for two weeks after you post, so a follower who isn’t a member yet still knows what you’re making.

Discover is fair to small creators

  • Newest shows public posts in the order they were posted, and no creator can take more than two spots a day.
  • Popular looks at how a post is doing for the size of its creator’s audience, so a small creator’s great post can outrank a big creator’s average one. Each creator gets one spot.

Creators help each other get found

Every creator can recommend up to four other ByUs creators. They show on your page and to your new members right after they join, and each creator you recommend gets an email saying so. The Collabs topic in the Creator Lounge is a good place to find people to team up with.

ByUs is still growing, so most new fans will come from creators bringing their own audiences. Our promise is that once they’re here, your posts reach them.
