Our promises to creators
You’re trusting ByUs with your fans and your income. Here’s what we will always do, and what we never will.
One price, whatever your size
Every creator pays the same 5% service fee plus a 5% + 30¢ processing fee, whether you sell $10 or $100,000 a month. We will never charge bigger creators a higher percentage. Lives have their own rate, and it’s the same for everyone too.
No surprise fees for your fans
Fans pay the price you set. The only things ever added are sales tax where the law requires it, and the processing fee if a fan chooses to cover it so you get more. That box is never ticked for them.
30 days’ notice before fees change
If our fees or payouts ever change, we’ll email you, explain it in plain words and give you 30 days before it applies to you, unless the law or our payment processor requires sooner. If you don’t like a change, you can leave before it starts.
Your audience is yours
Download your members’ names and emails, your posts and full-quality copies of your videos any time from Settings. Your earnings go straight to your own payout account. Leaving should be easy; we’d rather earn your staying.
Your work stays yours
You own what you make. ByUs only uses it to run your page, never sells it, and never uses your work to train AI.
We don’t sell your data
We don’t sell your personal information or your fans’, and members’ details are only for you to talk to your own fans.
Payments come first
Getting money from your fans to you, safely and on time, matters more than any new feature. Every change to how money moves is tested with a real payment before we call it done.
No investor sets your price
ByUs is owned and funded by its founder, and we plan to keep it that way. If we ever bring in outside money, it will never come with a say over our prices and fees, or over what creators are free to make and say within our Content Policy.
A real person answers
Creators can message Evan, the founder, right from their dashboard. He usually replies within an hour, 5 AM to 9 PM Eastern.
Who ByUs answers to
ByUs is owned and paid for by Evan, its founder. There are no outside investors and no one waiting to cash out, so the only people ByUs answers to are the creators who use it and their fans. That’s how we can make these promises and mean them. We only grow when you do.
