Step 1 of 12 · Launch
Set up your page in an afternoon
The short checklist that turns a blank page into one people want to join.

Start with the top of your page
Most visitors decide in a few seconds whether to stay, so the top of your page does the heavy lifting. Add a clear photo of you (or your logo), a banner that shows what you make, and a one-line description that says who it’s for and what they get.
Write the line for a stranger, not for fans who already know you. “Weekly behind-the-scenes from my studio and an early copy of every song” beats “Welcome to my page!”
Make one tier first
You can add more later. One clear tier is easier to explain than three half-planned ones. Give it a name that sounds like you, a price, and two or three specific benefits you can keep up every month. See the pricing guide for how to choose the number.
Post before you share
Put up at least one public post and one members-only post before you send anyone your link. The public post shows visitors your style; the members-only post shows them what’s waiting behind the button. Pin your best introduction so it stays at the top.
Finish the setup steps
- Connect Stripe from your dashboard so you can get paid. Payouts go straight to your own account.
- Claim a short page link (byusapp.com/creator/yourname) in the “Your page URL” card.
- Add your social links in the Links card so people can find you everywhere else.
- Write a welcome note for each tier. New members see it right after they join and get it in their welcome email.
- Optional: connect your own domain, like yourname.com, once your page has passed its first review.
Then tell people
Your page doesn’t need to be perfect to launch. It needs to be clear. The next guide, “Your first 100 members”, covers how to get the word out.
