What you get
Early releases and demos
Post songs as members-only audio before they’re anywhere else. Fans listen right on your page, and you choose which posts are public.
Sell your music as downloads
Albums, singles, stems or sheet music: MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC and PDF, up to 10 files per product. Buyers download straight from their dashboard.
A real fan club
Tiers with your own names and benefits, limited spots for the personal stuff, and group memberships so friends or a whole class can join together. Members talk in the comments, or in your Discord or Telegram, where access updates automatically.
Listen anywhere
Members play your songs on your page, or add their private feed to a podcast app and get every new members-only track there automatically.
Lessons and feedback
Offer paid messages for song feedback (charged only if you reply) and 1:1 video calls for lessons or Q&As, all on the same page.
Gifts for the holidays and birthdays
Fans can gift 3, 6 or 12 months of your membership, delivered by email on the day they choose.
Your fans, your list
An algorithm can change overnight. Your fan list stays yours: download your members’ names and emails any time from Settings, so you can always reach the people who pay you.
Listening parties and live sessions
Tap + and then LIVE to play the new single for your members first, run a Q&A or jam on a Sunday night. Up to 60 minutes per live, right on your page.
Superfans get a say, and get there first
Let members vote on the next single or the set list with a poll, thank them by name in your credits, and post presale codes and tour dates for members before anyone else.
Ideas for your tiers
Examples to get you started, not rules. Use your own names, prices and benefits.

Your first week
- Post one public song or clip so visitors hear what you do, and one members-only demo so they see what’s waiting.
- Create one tier and write a welcome note for new members.
- Put your ByUs link in your bio, your video descriptions and your release posts, and tell fans why you’re starting it.
- Pick a rhythm you can keep, like one members-only post a week, and stick to it.

Musician questions
What can I sell as downloads?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and AAC audio, PDFs, images, video and ZIP files, up to 10 files per product. Buyers download them straight from their dashboard.
Can members get songs before everyone else?
Yes. Post a song as members-only and pick when it turns free for everyone: after 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days. It happens on its own.
Can fans listen away from my page?
Yes. Members can add their private feed to Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts or Castro, and your new members-only songs show up there.
Can I give lessons or feedback?
Yes. Set a price for paid messages ($5 to $100), charged only if you reply, and offer 1:1 video calls of 15, 30 or 60 minutes at prices you choose.
Can a band’s friends or a class join together?
Yes. Turn on group memberships for a tier and one person can buy 2 to 10 seats, with a discount you choose.
Do I own my fan list?
Yes. In Settings, “Download your members and posts” gives you a spreadsheet of your current members with their name, email, tier and join date. If you email them all at once, include a working unsubscribe link.
Can I host a listening party?
Yes. Tap + and then LIVE on your phone, or Go live on your dashboard. Your members watch on your page, and everyone else sees a LIVE badge with a Join button. Each live can run up to 8 hours. You get $40 of free live credit every month, and live gifts and tips add more.
Can I sell merch or tickets on ByUs?
Not physical merch or tickets. ByUs sells memberships, downloads, single songs and more. Add your merch store and ticket links to your page, and give members a merch discount or presale code as a perk. Our creator toolkit lists merch services we like.
